Chris Ezekiel awarded Freedom of the City of London

Creative Virtual Founder and CEO Chris Ezekiel has been awarded Freedom of the City of London for his achievements in promoting technology innovation in business and his unwavering support and commitment to the East London community. He was presented with the Freedom yesterday afternoon at a ceremony at London’s Guildhall.
Born on the Isle of Dogs, Chris established Docklands headquartered Creative Virtual in 2003. The now global company provides conversational AI solutions to clients around the world serviced by Creative Virtual teams in the UK, Europe, US, India and across the Asia-Pacific region.
Chris was nominated by Canary Wharf Area Ambassador and Freeman of the City of London Reginald Beer, J.P., F.R.S.A. Reg, a liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Poulters for almost 30 years, and Master of the Company in 2020-2021.
Commenting on the nomination Reg said, “I was delighted to nominate Chris who has been an active member of the business community of London for decades. He has lived and worked in London his entire life and professionally and personally participates and supports many community activities, particularly in his native East London.“
On accepting the award Chris said, “Living and working in the best city in the world and to be recognised by my home city in this way is an honour not just for me but my entire family. I am a proud Londoner and to be awarded the Freedom of the City of London is an extremely proud moment.”
In 2017 Creative Virtual was honoured with the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the category of Innovation and was listed as one of Britain’s fastest growing private technology companies in the 2018 Sunday Times Tech Track 100. In 2019 the company was named Product Leader in Frost & Sullivan’s AI-Enhanced Customer Self-Service report.
